Terms and conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders done at HODAKOVA AB, henceforth referred to as “Hodakova”, “we” or “us”, regarding purchase and delivery of products from the website hodavoka.com. 

The terms & conditions are continuously reviewed, and customers are therefore recommended to read them at the time of each purchase. The terms and conditions for a specific order are the once valid at the time when the order was placed. By placing an order, the customer accepts the current applicable terms and conditions.

Prices and delivery fees

All prices are in SEK and include VAT (value added tax). Prices do not include the cost of dispatch - standard delivery is free of charge. Express delivery within Europe is charged with450 SEK and others 800 SEK. Please note that the delivery charges do not include import tariffs which may be due when the package reaches the country of destination.

Age limit

To shop at hodakova.com, you must be the age of majority in your state or province of residence.

Purchase

The purchase agreement applies when the customer receives the order confirmation via email from Hodakova. This is conditioned by the customer leaves the correct details regarding email address and residential address. From hodakova.com, deliveries are only made to customers of the age of majority in the state or province of residence. If a delivery cannot take place due to the products are not in stock this is indicated in your delivery confirmation, where the products are marked as not delivered.  

Hodakova only accepts orders from customers as private individuals.

Hodakova reserves the right to not accept orders from customers with high return rates. This means that the assessment is not done on individual purchases but is identified systemically.Each identified case is then assessed based on purchase and return history.

Certain products may be available exclusively and with limited quantity online through the website. These products may be subject to restrictive return or exchange.

Payment

We accept payments through PayPal, Klarna, and credit cards. Payment is effected when the ordered products leaves our warehouse.

We recommend you to read the current terms and conditions for each of the payment providers and how each of them handles your personal data and your purchase.

Deliveries

Hodakova values every piece and promises you that it is worth waiting. Our goal is to prevent overproduction; your order will therefore require patience. Depending on the quantity of your order you might have to wait up to three weeks to receive your item. The delivery time may also vary depending on the quantity of orders to be dispatched and circumstances that Hodakova has no control over such as delays by the carrier.

If you would like to receive your order faster, we offer express alternatives for a shipping fee (450 - 800 SEK).

If you would like us to craft your order immediately we offer prioritized alternatives for a fee (rate depending on piece).

Please note that the delivery charges do not include import costs that may be due when the package reaches the country of destination.

We cannot make any changes to the recipient or delivery address after the order has been confirmed.

Transportation

If the products are damaged or lost during transportation to you, Hodakova is responsible, but you must notify us at info@hodakova.com within a reasonable time (within two months).In the event that the package has visible damage, or if contents are missing, we need to report it to the carrier within 1-3 days of receipt and therefore we are grateful if you as a customer notify us as soon as a situation arises.

If the item is damaged or lost when you return a product, you are responsible.

Uncollected packages

Your order will remain with the agent you have chosen for a certain period, communicated by the agent, before it’s sent back to us. If you do not collect your order within this period, you will be charged a fee for return shipping.

Return of goods

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unworn or unused, in the same condition asyou received it, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If you regret your purchase, you must notify us. To start a return, you can contact us at return@hodakova.com . You shall include your name, address, and other relevant information, such as order number, invoice number, and product name in the message. When using your right to regret, you shall use a standard form for exercising your right. You can find the form here.

If you want to return products from an online order, place the items you want to return in the bag they were delivered in. We include instructions on how and where to send your package. Please save the return receipt until you receive your return confirmation.

If your return is eligible and approved, you’ll automatically be refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to you. You only pay for the products you keep aswell as the shipping fee on your order and return shipping. Please note that you will cover the return shipping cost, either by arranging the shipping by yourself or we do it and the amount is taken from your refund after the return is done. If we have sent the wrong or defective item, we are of course responsible for the return shipping.

If a product is returned to us within the right of withdrawal in a significantly altered condition that cannot be restored, we may accept the return with a price reduction, which can amount up to 100% of the price of the product. You are responsible for any reduced value of the product if it’s due to your handling of the product to a greater extent than is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and function of the product. In the event that you wish to have the item returned, a shipping fee may be charged.

We do not apply exchange orders. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item at hodakova.com.

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Pieces that are made on order aren't refundable, instead you will get a credit to use on your next order.

Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Any errors can, of course, be claimed.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Defective product

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. In the event of a complaint where we do not find any fault with the item, or if the fault is caused by usage errors, we may charge a fee to return the item to you or dispose of it free of charge. We will of course keep you updated during the process. We never charge a fee for an approved complaint.

In the event of a defect in the product, you are asked to immediately report any obvious material or production defects in the delivered goods to us.

The right of complaint is valid up to 3 years. The complaint does not apply to normal wear and tear. If a fault or defect is discovered, the customer must, within a reasonable time after the fault or defect was discovered, or should have been discovered, inform Hodakova that the customer wishes to make a complaint. Complaints made within two months of discovering the fault are always considered to have been made in time.

If a consumer does not complain in time, the right to complain about the defect is lost. A defect that becomes apparent within six months from the consumer taking possession of the product (usually the time of delivery) is presumed to have existed when delivered.

If you want to make a complaint about an online order, put the goods you want to return in the bag your order came in. We want you as a customer to always be satisfied with your purchase from us. We would therefore be grateful if you took the time to include a note in the package with information about why you are complaining about the received products.

When you hand in your return to your postal agent, you will receive a delivery receipt. We ask you to keep this receipt until you receive your return confirmation from us.

IT Security

All transactions at hodakova.com are secure and encrypted. Hodakova reserves the right to deny credit card purchases.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

Personal data

Hodakova is, as the data controller, responsible for the Personal Information you provide to us in connection with your purchase. The Personal Information provided to us in connection with a purchase is used to process your payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations, communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of information that’s downloaded to your computer or device when you visit our site. We use a number of different cookies, including functional, performance, advertising, and social media or content cookies. We use cookies to facilitate analysis of traffic on hodakova.com and create a better user experience. Cookies make your browsing experience better by allowing the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login and region selection). This means you don’t have to re-enter this information each time you return to the site or browse from one page to another. Cookies also provide information on how people use the website, for instance whether it’s their first time visiting or if they are a frequent visitor.

By visiting hodakova.com, you agree that we collect information about your visits using cookies. Reservations

Hodakova accepts no liability for any mistakes in illustrations or text items.

Force majeure

During force majeure, Hodakovas obligations are suspended. If force majeure prevails for more than 2 months, both the consumer and Hodakova have the right to cancel the agreement without any obligations to pay damages.  

Force majeure includes, amongst other things, strikes, personnel sickness, transport disruptions, import/export bans, natural disasters and war irrespective of whether this occurs in the company or at the company’s suppliers.  

Applicable law and dispute resolution

Swedish law is applicable on these terms and conditions. Any disputes should be referred to the Swedish General Complaints Board. We always follow the Swedish General Complaints Boards decisions.
